'I am deeply sorry': Julia Fox's father writes apology letter to neighbors over son's arrest
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Thomas Fox, the father of Julia Fox, has apologized to the residents of the New York City apartment complex where his son, Christopher Fox, was arrested on drug and ghost gun charges in an early-morning raid that happened on Wednesday, March 8. Thomas, 65, apologized for the "traumatic" and "horrible" occurrence in a letter to the residents of the Upper East Side building.
"I wish to apologize for what you all went through. What happened was traumatic for all concerned, and I am deeply sorry you all were exposed to the fallout from this horrible event," Thomas wrote in an apology letter obtained by DailyMail. Thomas resided in the apartment with his son Christopher, 30, who is now suspected of running a ghost gun-peddling operation out of their apartment. The father of two, who was also detained during the raid but was not charged, apologized for the commotion but asserted that the media had "exaggerated" his son's alleged offenses. Thomas also told neighbors that Christopher would not be coming back to the apartment in an effort to relieve concerns and conflicts in the building.

'I want to say how sorry I am to everyone'
Thomas wrote, "The media has exaggerated the alleged crimes they accuse my son of doing. I too was astounded and shocked by what they spread on the days after this happened. I understand your justified response of outrage, and anger toward me and my family members. In your shoes I would react the same way."
Thomas added, "Perhaps when you know the truth, you will revise your opinion to reflect the actual reality. My understanding is that Chris will not be allowed to enter the building, as stipulated by the Board, which my family will abide by. Once again, I want to say how sorry I am to everyone who lives and works in the building that this unfortunate event took place."
What is Julia Fox's brother charged of?
Julia's brother, Christopher, was placed under arrest on Wednesday, March 8 as part of a thorough investigation into the manufacture of illegal firearms, also referred to as "ghost guns," in and around New York City. Prosecutors claim he used 3D printers to make gun parts that could be assembled and sold as untraceable "ghost guns," leading to charges of illegal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of making machine firearms.
Prosecutors claimed on Thursday, March 9 that based on his purchasing history and the supplies discovered in his apartment, it was likely that he had manufactured and distributed a number of weapons. A source claimed that Julia is not thought to be aware of the suspected criminal conduct of her family, according to DailyMail.
