'Jersey Shore Family Vacation': Release date, cast, plot and everything you need to know about season 2B of the reality show

'Jersey Shore Family Vacation' is officially coming back, with all new episodes of drama and friendship on the small screen. The show, which first premiered on MTV in April 2018, will be back in less than a month with season 2B. The cast will be back with some new faces. The Jersey Shore phenomenon began over a decade ago and ever since then the series has resulted in a number of spinoffs that include Floribama Shore that was renewed for season 3 recently and other international remakes like, Geordie Shore (UK), Gandia Shore (Spain), Warsaw Shore (Poland) and Acapulco Shore (Mexico).

And now from the original series executive producer, SallyAnn Salsano, Jersey Shore Family Vacation will return to MTV in less than a month with a new drama. According to MTV, "Through the challenges and fears, pranks and surprise wedding guests, is the humor that keeps this group together and proves that facing life's twists and turns is easier with friends."

A teaser was dropped showing the housemates back living their Jerzdays. Here is all you need to know about season 2B of the show:

Release date

'Jersey Shore Family Vacation' returns on July 11 at 8/9c on MTV. 

Cast

The original series follows seven housemates from the original Jersey Shore as they spend a month living together in Miami, Florida. Season three will reunite housemates new mom Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. But this doesn't mean things haven't changed. As weddings, divorce, and even impending jail time loom over the housemates, their friendship and camaraderie will be put to test.

The series is directed by Brad Kreisberg from a script written by Josh Raymond, Josh Opitz, Anthony Beltempo, SallyAnn Salsano, and Michael James Nelson. 

Plot

The show's newly released teaser trailer looks super fun, and features stars Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio as groomsmen, getting ready for Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's wedding day, which took place last November. Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who recently welcomed her third child, can also be seen in the video, practicing to be flower girls at the wedding. Viewers will get to watch the recent happenings in the cast's lives, like Farley’s crumbling marriage to Roger Mathews and Sorrentino's tax evasion's consequences.
