James Gunn confirms MCU's first ever uncensored F-bomb in 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: With the upcoming release of 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3', Marvel Studios appears to be departing from their usual style, as for the first time in their 15-year history, James Gunn confirmed they will include a full, uncensored F-bomb in the movie. Marvel Studios has always been known for making family-friendly movies with little violence and humor.
Many people are surprised by Marvel Studios' choice because the company has traditionally taken care to keep its films in the PG-13 range. A radical deviation from their usual method, the addition of an uncensored F-word indicated that the studio was open to venturing into uncharted terrain.

What did James Gunn confirm about MCU?
In a brand-new preview for the MCU sequel, an irritated Chris Pratt's Star Lord aka Peter Quill instructs Karen Gillan's Nebula on how to "open the f***ing door" to a car. Gunn confirmed on Twitter that the F-bomb will "of course" be uncensored in it's final form.
"You can only have one [uncensored F-word] in a PG-13 movie," Gunn tweeted, adding, "That said it wasn't planned — I told Chris [Pratt] to add it on set and it just made the moment funnier so we kept [it]."

Has Marvel ever used expletives before?
In 2010's 'Iron Man 2', during a bleeped-out argument between Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) and Senator Stern (Garry Shandling), Marvel Studios dropped an F-bomb, albeit a censored one. The phrase has been deleted or heavily edited from 'Spider-Man: Homecoming', 'Spider-Man: Far From Home', 'Avengers: Infinity War', and 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law'. Only the MA-rated Marvel Television productions 'Daredevil', 'Jessica Jones' and 'The Punisher' that first debuted on Netflix explicitly use the phrase.
With the inclusion of an uncensored F-bomb in 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3', Marvel Studios seems to have strayed from its customary family-friendly content. However, does this imply that the studio will begin making more films aimed at adults? Most likely not. Although 'Deadpool 3's R-rating suggests that it would feature more explicit language, Marvel normally strives for a PG-13 classification in most of its movies, which permits the use of only one F-word.
