Mahomes' Aspens restaurant controversy
Restaurant owner Vaugh said that Mahomes' advances were unwelcomed and unexpected and believed that he was intoxicated and claimed that she has the footage of him grabbing her neck and attempting to kiss her twice.
She said, "He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere, and I’m telling him, pushing him off saying ‘what are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive."
Previously, Vaughn shared a photo on Facebook of Mahomes and her stepdaughter together as they have been friends and in the caption, she described him as a "good kid"
Waiter claims he smelled an odor of marijuana
The waiter, who does not wish to reveal his identity, spoke about the alleged incident and stated that he was not let by Mahomes into the office of the restaurant to grab his water bottle. "I was going into our office downstairs where the employees are in the employee area and he’s downstairs for I don’t know what reason, and I’m trying to get to the office, and he’s like, pushing me out. And he’s like, No, get out, get out."
The waiter claimed that after Mahomes and his gang went into the VIP area of the restaurant, the place smelled an odor of marijuana and he was admonished that other guests would be able to smell the odor.
Vaughn says she was 'shocked'
Following the incident with the waiter, Vaughn, and Mahomes spoke about it in private and at the time, he grabbed her neck and forcibly kissed her, leaving a small bruise. Vaughn said she was "shocked" by the incident and recalled telling him it is "disgusting." She told him that he is a child and meanwhile, he tried telling her "we should be a power couple," to which she replied "clearly you’re out of your mind right now."
According to the Kansas City Star, police provided the outlet with a statement to confirm their investigation into the multiple alleged incidents.
