Patrick Mahomes injures ankle mid-game at Super Bowl LVII, Kansas City Chiefs fans say ‘it’s over’
GLENDALE, ARIZONA: Patrick Mahomes appeared to be injured and in pain during the Super Bowl 2023 game. He had reportedly already been suffering from an ankle sprain. Shortly before the halftime show, he was seen limping off.
NFL insider Tom Peliserro said that after getting injured, Mahomes went to the bench and was examined by medical personnel, according to Mirror. He is trying to walk it off now after looking at a tablet and having a conversation with Andy Reid.

As per the video of the incident, Mahomes may have aggravated his right high-ankle sprain on the tackle by Eagles linebacker TJ Edwards, Sports Injury Central reported. "Because of Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show, Mahomes will have a significantly extended halftime that could impact his treatment. He can opt for a pain-numbing injection and will likely have his ankle re-taped to reduce any residual swelling," it said.
