LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Anytongs founder Tog Samphel might have impressed Daymond John with his nifty kitchen accessory pitch that can convert any spoon and fork into tongs. But unfortunately, the same can't be said for 'Shark Tank' fans who were not only unimpressed with the product design but also the Sharky offer that Daymond made.

Tog stepped into the tank seeking $150,000 for a 20% stake in his company. While all the Sharks were pretty impressed with the innovative solution of turning any cutlery into tongs, they however were put off by the brand's poor sales numbers. Since Tog had only made $7000 from sales, the Sharks were hesitant to part with their money. Despite his fellow Sharks' decision to sit out on the deal, Daymond decided to take a "flyer" on Tog and made an offer of investing the $150,000 but in exchange, the Shark wanted 49% of the company!

Interestingly enough all the other Sharks backed Daymond's offer and felt that it was a pretty good offer and urged Tog to take it. Though Tog tried to negotiate the equity down to 40%, Daymond's refusal to budge from his initial offer led to the Anytongs founder taking the deal. While Tog left the tank grinning from ear to ear and feeling proud over securing a deal from Daymond, 'Shark Tank' fans however didn't share the same feeling.

Several fans took to Twitter to point out how the number of dishes to be cleaned would increase, all thanks to Anytongs' design of using multiple spoons and forks in place of actual tongs. A fan tweeted, "Anytongs is something I have absolutely no need for yet strangely I still want. Because why dirty one pair of tongs when I can dirty multiple pairs of forks and spoons instead? #SharkTank." "It just creates even more dirty dishes and the offer part was cringe," wrote another fan. Another fan pointed out other flaws with the product, "It doesn't seem practical. You can't use them at a family picnic. You can't use it on a buffet. Nothing we would buy." "Who doesn’t love an invention solving a non existing problem!" mocked a fan.

'Shark Tank' fans were also surprised watching Tog give up 49% of his company for just $150,000 to Daymond. A fan shared, "Tongs Guy just gave up 49% of his company for that little? WTF? #SharkTank." "#Sharktank Wow. He gave up 49%," seconded a fan. "I can't believe he gave up 49%! #SharkTank," echoed another fan.
