In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the famed comedian revealed that she needs "to get help to learn balance and boundaries" after her DUI arrest.
The 'Girls Trip' actress reassured her fans, stating, "This will never happen again."
Haddish was arrested by the cops for driving under the influence in Beverly Hills after she fell asleep behind the wheel.
Tiffany Haddish was taken into custody for DUI for the second time in 2 years
On November 24, 2023, Haddish was arrested by the cops for driving under the influence. This is the second time that she has been arrested on DUI charges in the last 2 years.
At that point, the publication TMZ reported that the eyewitnesses saw that the comedian who was driving her Tesla stopped in the middle of the road of Beverly Drive.
She seemingly fell asleep while driving the car. Soon after, the cops got a call and they reached the scene and after an assessment, they took Haddish into custody for driving under the influence.
It has been reported by the media outlet that a couple of hours before her arrest, the movie star had given a special Thanksgiving performance at West Hollywood's Laugh Factory.
The event was a part of the venue's 43rd annual free feast for locals.
Following the show, the 43-year-old went out to celebrate and enjoy herself. Later, she posted a video of herself dancing at Yachtley Crew's concert on her Instagram page.
On the same night, she shared a video playfully expressing her desire to connect with her East African roots by joining the Habesha party in Inglewood.
Later, she mentioned the experience of not being allowed into the club.

When was Tiffany Haddish initially arrested for DUI?
Tiffany was arrested for driving under the influence for the very first time in January 2022.
Back then, Haddish was taken into custody in Atlanta after the police authorities received a call and were informed about someone being asleep driving the vehicle.
At that point in time, she was charged with DUI and improper stopping on a roadway.
The 'Like a Boss' actress was released from custody after posting a bond of $1,666.
While making an appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' later that month, she talked about her DUI arrest.
She said, "I've been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man. God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform."
Haddish added, "I wasn't expecting it. I was not expecting that at all. Now, I've got a really great lawyer, and we're going to work it out. I've got to get my asking of things to God a little better."
Tiffany Haddish regrets being in the news after DUI arrest
According to the media outlet Daily Mail, Haddish is reportedly "relieved" that her "mistake" didn't result in anyone getting "hurt."
A source told the media outlet, "Tiffany regrets that she is in the news for being arrested, but is grateful that nobody got hurt."
The source went on to say, "She is going to tackle it all head-on and get the right lawyers."
