‘The Gentlemen’ drops Season 2 tailer as Netflix confirms major future update

'The Gentlemen' Season 2 trailer confirms that Guy Ritchie and the squad will be back for another season, but there's another major update.

Ambition can’t be tamed. Netflix has released the trailer for 'The Gentlemen' Season 2, starring Theo James and Kaya Scodelario, while also confirming that the Guy Ritchie crime drama will return for Season 3. The new season premieres September 3, setting the stage for another chapter in Eddie and Susie’s increasingly dangerous criminal empire. The renewal arrives alongside the release of the first full-length trailer for ‘The Gentlemen’ Season 2.

The new footage shows Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass taking their criminal enterprise beyond Britain as their ambitions grow and the stakes become increasingly dangerous. Season 2 takes the action to Italy, with the important addition of yet another aristocrat played by Hugh Bonneville. 

It is clear from the trailer that Eddie is not content with merely maintaining what he has. Seeing his family's huge property, he expresses his intent to take back everything it ever had. Encouragement from American billionaire Stanley Johnston only seems to fuel his confidence, pushing him further into a world of powerful crime figures and increasingly risky decisions. Ray Winstone returns as Bobby Glass, while Harry Goodwins returns as Jack.

Eddie's family and inner circle also return, including Lady Sabrina, Freddy, Charly, and Geoff, played by Joely Richardson, Daniel Ings, Jasmine Blackborow, and Vinnie Jones, respectively. Giancarlo Esposito, Michael Vu, Ruby Sear, and Pearce Quigley are also returning. New additions include Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, Chris Eubank Jr., and Maya Jama.

Although recent reports have linked Meghan Markle to Season 3, neither Netflix nor Markle has confirmed her involvement, and no role has been officially announced.” Ritchie said the show's ambition, expanding world, and growing consequences made a third season feel inevitable. With Season 2 preparing to push Eddie and Susie into a much bigger game, Netflix has now confirmed that their story is far from over.
