NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA: In the latest Episode 11 of 'The Curse of Oak Island' Season 11, fans witnessed Rick Lagina, Marty Lagina, and their team continue the quest for the buried treasure on the legendary Oak Island. During the recent episode of History TV's long-running show, viewers saw incredible discoveries made by the cast and crew.
The Fellowship members were filled with immense joy and excitement as they stumbled upon yet another magnificent structure hidden within the depths of the swamp. Moreover, while exploring the mysterious Money Pit, they found compelling evidence indicating they might have finally made a remarkable discovery, potentially coming into direct contact with the enigmatic Chappell Vault.
What kind of structure did the ‘Curse of Oak Island’ team find in the swamp?
In the latest episode, Rick Lagina, Marty Lagina, and their team continued digging a triangle-shaped swamp. Just a week ago, they worked on the southern corner, hoping to discover another stone. This time, they unearthed an axe cut, representing an older wood construct. After the find, the team consulted Dr Ian Spooner for his viewpoint.
Dr Ian Spooner pointed out that the peat shouldn't be over the sand, instead the sand should be over the peat. He suggested going deeper in their investigation of the swamp. Then, Craig Tester and Marty Lagina met with Roger Fortin to discuss the Money Pit area. The crew stabilized the Garden Shaft, and Muon Technology found an anomaly. The crew previously discovered pieces of parchment and binding.
Who is Alex Lagina on ‘The Curse of Oak Island’?
Alex Lagina, Marty Lagina's son, carved his path into treasure hunting after graduating from the University of Michigan's College of Engineering. In the latest episode, Alex may have struck gold on Lot 5. Two years ago, Gary Drayton and his brothers discovered a similar artifact, a piece of copper. Alex now believes his find could be a valuable candidate for lab analysis.
In the swamp, Gary, Jack Begley, and Billy Gerhardt uncovered an old-cut piece of wood, along with decking and railing. They plan to C-4 the wood for more information. The team also stumbled upon another log potentially linked to Fred Nolan.
Where is Fred Nolan’s wall located?
After partially draining the swamp in 1969, the late Oak Island landowner Fred Nolan reportedly discovered evidence of what he believed to be timbered walls or dams buried along southern and northern borders. Despite playing a relatively insignificant part in the show, Fred Nolan matched the passion and excitement of his fellow enthusiasts in the thrilling pursuit of treasure hunting.
As mentioned in his obituary, Nolan embarked on a lengthy and fulfilling journey, ultimately succumbing to the embrace of time at the age of 89. Over the years, structures like Garden Shaft, Money Pit, and more have played a crucial role in getting a step closer to solving the mystery of Oak Island, and Fred Nolan's wall is among them.
New episodes of 'The Curse of Oak Island' Season 11 air on Tuesdays at 9/8 pm Et/Pt on History TV.
