What is the plot of 'Palm Royale'?
'Palm Royale', set in 1969, follows Maxine Simmons (Kristen Wiig) as she tries to infiltrate Palm Beach's high society. Facing resistance from queen bee Evelyn Rollins (Allison Janney), Maxine questions her sacrifices for acceptance.
Among secrets and snobbery, Maxine also meets activist Linda Shaw (Laura Dern), who challenges societal norms.
