Which 'Owning Manhattan' cast members are not returning for season 2? Here's what we know so far
Real-estate mogul Ryan Serhan is all set to bring back the "highest highs and lowest lows" of New York City real estate in the second season of 'Owning Manhattan', scheduled to release on December 5. For the unversed, the reality television series follows Serhant, CEO of the real estate company SERHANT, as he navigates through the world of New York City luxury real estate. The show was renewed for a second season soon after it premiered on Netflix on June 28, 2024. Apart from 'Owning Manhattan', Serhant is also part of Bravo's 'Million Dollar Listing New York' and its spin-off 'Sell It Like Serhant.'
In an interview with US Weekly, Serhant revealed that filming 'Owning Manhattan' finally allowed him to experiment in ways cable TV never could. "There were certain things we couldn't really play with. As a producer on it as well. If you want to create something no one's seen before in reality TV, the voiceover, the orchestra, the story, and the way all eight episodes almost play out like one documentary—you can't do that on cable," he said. Speaking about the first season, Serhant also raved over the crew, saying, "The crew was insane. Everything was just wild. It was bigger."
Along with Serhant, the first season of 'Owning Manhattan' starred Chloe Tucker Caine, Nile Lundgren, Tricia Lee, Jade Shenker, Jessica Markowski, Jessica Taylor, Jordan Hurt, Jonathan Nørmølle, Jordan March, Savannah Gowarty, and Jeffrey St. Arromand. Stars returning for the second season of 'Owning Manhattan' include Serhant, Caine, Hurt, March, Lee, Lundgren, Shenker, Markowski, Taylor, and Arromand.
Nørmølle was fired from the show after Serhant got bad feedback from his fellow brokers. In a 2024 interview with Daily Mail, Nørmølle spoke about his firing and said, "I had a plan because I was under contract with Ryan and all the sponsorships. The only way I could get out of those contracts was if I got Ryan mad enough for him to fire me. And the only way I could do that is by saying all these things like Ryan had done nothing when he was my age, whereas I have been on Forbes Under 30." Following his departure, Nørmølle established his own brokerage named Next Gen Ventures. Meanwhile, Gowarty left Serhant after Season 1 and now works at Compass Real Estate.

Meanwhile, speaking about 'Owning Manhattan' Season 2, Serhant told Netflix's Tudum that viewers can expect "an emotional and physical roller coaster." "There are records broken—$50 and $60 million purchases. There's commercial development in the hundreds of millions of dollars," Serhant said. The real estate mogul also confirmed that many new faces will be joining 'Owning Manhattan' Season 2. "We go from basically 300 agents in Season 1 to crossing 1,000 agents in Season 2," he told Tudum, adding, "Like any growing company, what got us here won't get us there. That's true for the types of properties we sell, for the markets we go into, and for the people that get to work with me."
