Is Conquest alive? 'Invincible' Season 4 post-credits scenes drop a major revelation
If you thought the main episodes of ‘Invincible’ Season 4 were already getting intense, the extra scenes at the end are setting up what comes next. The first three episodes, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, waste no time shaking things up for Mark Grayson. He seems to be juggling way too much at once, right from his complicated relationship with Atom Eve to the constant pressure of living up to expectations, all while a certain empire looms overhead like a storm that refuses to pass. And then, just when you think you can catch your breath, the post-credits scenes come into play. Let’s start with Episode 1, because that’s where things take a turn.

The after-credits moment brings back Conquest, who, despite being left in a wrecked state after his brutal clash with Mark and Eve in Season 3, turns out to be very much alive. Locked away in an underground facility under the watch of Cecil Stedman and Donald Ferguson, he doesn’t exactly sit quietly and reflect on his choices. Instead, he mocks the decision to spare him and then breaks out. He escapes the facility and launches himself into space, leaving the Global Defense Agency scrambling to process what just happened. Episode 2's post-credits scene picks up that thread. Conquest, now back among his own kind, faces Thragg, the imposing leader of the Viltrum Empire. And here’s where the plot gets interesting, because instead of trying to justify his failure, Conquest asks for punishment.
Even conquest was on his knees to beg his death infront of the THRAGG, we've about to witness most brutality from now on#invincible #invincibleseason4 pic.twitter.com/nA8FrAvLsa

He wants to be executed, painfully, as a way to set an example. Thragg, however, isn’t impressed. He shuts down that request immediately, making it clear that failure doesn’t earn an exit; it earns more work. He tells Conquest, “You have work to do yet.” By the time Episode 3 wraps up, the tone changes again, but don’t mistake that for relief. The final scene starts with Mark waking up, clearly shaken, like he’s just had a nightmare. He checks in on Eve, who’s in the bathroom, but she brushes him off gently, saying she’ll join him soon. Inside, Atom Eve is alone, holding a positive pregnancy test. For a character already struggling to keep her powers under control, this introduces a whole new layer of uncertainty.
Eve being pregnant makes sm sense now because of her powers not being what it used to be OML this ending had me so gagged🫢👀 mark is gonna be a dad!😭#Invincible #InvincibleSeason4 pic.twitter.com/Y5N100NNZx

Moreover, it hints at something fans of the comics might recognize: the eventual arrival of their daughter, Terra Grayson. So now, alongside intergalactic threats and brutal enemies, there’s something far more personal entering the picture. The show itself continues to build on the foundation laid by Robert Kirkman and Simon Racioppa, who are steering the series as showrunners. The voice cast, led by Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, and J.K. Simmons, continues to bring weight to every scene. Meanwhile, supporting stars like Gillian Jacobs, Walton Goggins, and Zachary Quinto add texture across the board. With Episode 4 arriving on March 25, the pressure is only set to increase.
