AGOURA HILLS, CALIFORNIA: After her elimination from 'The Bachelor' Season 28, Sydney Gordon was accused by the internet of using the "white woman victim card" and portraying herself as a victim.

She was perceived as trying to garner sympathy by playing on societal perceptions of victimhood associated with certain racial and gender dynamics.

Sydney expressed being upset and receiving negativity from fans of the show. Despite this, she requested that people should be sensitive to her feelings and not exacerbate the situation with insensitivity.

The accusations and backlash online had taken an emotional toll on Sydney, as she requested them not to let out negativity to her family and friends. But the internet attacked Sydney, accusing her of using the "white privilege card" and suggesting that she hadn't faced any real hardships in her life.

Critics claimed that she was exploiting the concept of white privilege to garner sympathy, asserting that her experiences on the show did not justify playing the victim.

"This girl has never experienced anything hard in her life. She’s just emanating peak white privilege vibes. Send this spoiled girl packing," a user said.

"Sydney’s white woman tears are fucking crazy MAMA WHY ARE YOU GASLIGHTING SO HARD," another said.

"Sydney is the textbook definition of white woman tears and weaponizing therapy speak," said another. Some accused her of maintaining an image but called her a "villain" from within. "I think Sydney is very used to getting what she wants and has no problem making other people out to be villain just to maintain her perfect (delusional) world. White women like this are scary and dangerous as hell."

Why did Joey choose Maria over Sydney?

Joey decided to choose Maria Georgas over Sydney on 'The Bachelor' because he believed Sydney was causing unnecessary drama instead of focusing on their connection.

The prolonged feud and ongoing drama between Sydney and Maria had portrayed Sydney in a negative light, influencing Joey's decision-making. The lingering tension between the two contestants painted Sydney unfavorably in Joey's eyes.

When the moment to make a choice arrived, Joey perceived that Sydney's focus on creating drama was overshadowing the potential for a genuine connection with him. This led him to favor Maria.

In a significant moment, Joey picked up the rose and gave it to Maria, symbolizing his decision to continue their relationship. Joey chose Maria over her as he thought Sydney was more caught up in the drama rather than focusing on him.
