In the latest preview of MTV’s ‘Teen Mom’, we see Indiana is witnessing the peak of the pandemic and strict instructions are being followed to shut everything down, including mom Jade Cline’s salon.

The preview begins with a disclaimer: “Due to safety concerns surrounding the coronavirus, MTV halted filming in all locations and the cast was asked to self-document.” Jade further confirms that she was self documenting herself and her and daughter, Kloe, making breakfast together, while Sean, who was residing with them, was stretching his leg and playing video games in the other room. Jade then says even though she has been trying to be safe at the salon, she got some bad news.

Jade calls up her client to let her know that she is sending back the deposits of all clients with future bookings and she wouldn’t be able to reschedule until further notice. She then tells the camera that the governor of Indiana had shut down the county and it was not decided when it was going to reopen. Jade confesses that the fact that she won’t be able to take in clients was making her whole world fall apart. She wouldn’t be able to take in clients until further notice by the governor and she was scared she might run behind in paying bills and there was no one who could help her financially, she says, “everyone in my family has it hard financially already”.

She also tells us that her salon is on lease and even though the owners won’t be charging late fees, Jade would still have to pay the rent. She said she couldn’t do anything about it but to sit around in her house and wait for the time when she could go back to work. Next we see Jade go to her salon and disinfect and clean everything for the next time when she can come back to work. We see her washing everything and putting things to its place.

Viewers of the show were quick to understand her situation and support her as they said, “Keep your head up jade. You’ve been thru so much and have worked so hard to rise above. You will get your blessings that you deserve.” Another wrote, “I’m a hairstylist from Ohio and I feel this 100%. My stomach dropped the minute our governor told us to shut our doors. It was scary. Fast forward to today we’re reopened now of course but things still aren’t 100% financially and business has not been the same.”
