Fans of the popular prank comedy series 'Impractical Jokers' can rejoice as The Tenderloins are returning for the ninth season soon on truTV. The production of the series faced a setback due to the pandemic last year, but as per the latest announcement about the new season, we can expect more fun-filled and hilariously crazy episodes from the comedy troupe.

Release date

‘Impractical Jokers' Season 9 is set to premiere on February 4, 2021, at 10/9C. It will be aired every Thursday at the same time. After each episode, the ‘Impractical Jokers: After Party’ hosted by Joey Fatone will premiere directly where you can find your favorite stars from the show discussing that particular episode’s pranks and punishments.

Plot

Like the previous eight seasons since 2011, Season 9 of 'Impractical Jokers' is also believed to be centered around the four close friends challenging and daring each other to outrageous tasks and pranks, and often ending up in awkward situations with the show’s motto being "you refuse, you lose".

The punishments, which get more quirky and ridiculous with each season, tend to be funnier than the actual pranks. Though much has not been revealed about any central plot in Season 9, it is expected that the funniest four will be back with a boom with their usual shenanigans. The network has already promised ‘new jokes’ and ‘even bigger laughs’.
