LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Less than a year after ending the rigmarole of Paul Goodman on the prequel of 'Breaking Bad', 'Better Call Saul',  Bob Odenkirk is back with a brand new show, 'Lucky Hank', in which he will play the character of William Henry Devereaux Jr. The trailer released on Wednesday, February 15, while the show will be out in March. Odenkirk plays the chair of English department in a poorly funded university in Pennsylvania. 

While Odenkirk has become a fan-favorite for his incredible performance in 'Better Call Saul', fans have welcomed this new series with open arms by commenting on Twitter. 'Lucky Hank' is based on the 1997 novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Russo titled 'Straight Man'.

'I’d still watch for king bob'

While Odenkirk is back with another interesting series, fans are happy to see him back in action on screen. "This looks so good, but even if wasn’t, I’d still watch for king bob," wrote a user. Another uplifting comment read, "PEAK INCOMING." A third wrote, "I don't even know what this about. For me is the show in where Saul have a beard and that is enough to be watch the show." 



 



 



 

Another person tweeted, "THAT’S NOT HANK THAT’S SAUL GOODMAN WITH A BEARD," as another chimed in with, "Reminder this is canon to the timeline where Saul steals Hank’s identity and Jesse and Walt eventually invent popcorners."



 



 

Mid-life crisis and unresolved issues

'Lucky Hank' revolves around Hank, as he goes through a whirlwind of changes from early mid-life crises to issues with his father and a mediocre and entitled student body. As he continues to discover new things in his life, his wife, Lily, played by Mireille Enos, the vice-principal of the town’s local high school, starts revealing her own life decisions. The story is told from Hank's perspective as he sees and learns new things. The series also stars Sara Amini, Diedrich Bader, Suzanne Cryer, Olivia Scott Welch, Cedric Yarbrough, Kyle Maclachlan, Alvina August, Tom Bower, Shannon DeVido, Chris Diamantopoulos and Lilah Fitzgerald. 

'Lucky Hank' will be releasing on March 19 and the series’ debut episode will air on AMC and AMC+ along with BBC America, IFC, and SundanceTV. Take a look at the trailer till then.
