'I Love A Mama's Boy': Roberto picks Kristy over mom Nancy in a SHOCKING twist
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: While 'I Love A Mama's Boy' fans are used to watching moms treat their son's partners poorly, new cast member Roberto's mother Nancy still managed to shock fans. The TLC show's fans watched in shock and disgust as Nancy cast doubts on her younger granddaughter's paternity.
Nancy was convinced that since the toddler didn't resemble Roberto it couldn't be his child. She pushed him into getting a DNA test to confirm the paternity. This led to friction between Roberto and his wife Kristy, who felt that her husband was siding with his mother by getting the test done. But Roberto believed that getting the test would shut his mother up and stop her from meddling in their marriage. Kristy reluctantly agreed to get the test after realizing that if she didn't get it, it would give Nancy further ammunition to question their marriage and her loyalty. The reports revealed that the child was 99.9% Roberto's daughter. Roberto was hoping that his mother would accept the results quietly and leave them along, but instead Nancy began questioning the authenticity of the test and the reports.

Nancy's attitude irked Kristy, who stormed out claiming she couldn't do this any more and began questioning her marriage to Roberto. Kristy felt that as a good husband and father, Roberto shouldn't have let the situation escalate this far and instead nipped at the bud by not indulging his mother and her crazy demands. It looks like Roberto finally began to see Kristy's point of view, as in the preview for the upcoming episode of the TLC show we see him leaving Nancy shocked when he declares that he's choosing his wife Kristy over Nancy.
Roberto asks his mother Nancy to apologize to Kristy, but when she refuses to do it he gets annoyed and points out how her actions were tearing his family apart. He then takes the bold stance of standing by his wife and picking her over Nancy. While its cathartic to watch Roberto finally doing the right thing, we can't wait to watch how Nancy takes this new twist. We'll just have to wait and watch to see if Nancy will finally back away from her son's family or continue trying to break up his marriage.
