Host Ken Jeong is back with another episode of 'I Can See Your Voice', the game show that revolves around recognizing a bad singer. Unlike 'The Masked Singer', this show has some bad singers that will do good to the contestants by allowing them to win big. To describe in Ken’s own words exactly how bad the bad singers actually are, “they can kill up to 99.99% household germs with their voice.”

With bad and good singers taking the stage, it is upto the contestant to figure out who can actually sing. With six rounds for them to understand their voices, the show offers $10,000 for the first five stages and a chance to win $100,000 in the sixth round. In the latest episode, we have Emily from San Diego, California. Emily is a new mother, she has a four-month-old son Carson, “he’s a quarantine baby,” says Emily.

She is an OT specialist and teaches kids with special needs. She wanted to raise money for the children. The judges present were Jesse McCartney, Yvette Nicole Brown, Robin Thicke, Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Houghton. The six good and bad singers came under the disguise of the Surfer, Poet, Broadway Belter, Harpist, Singer-songwriter and Boxer.

For the first round, three singers/non-singers take the take to do a lipsync challenge. The good singer lipsync’s to his/her own lovely voice and the bad singer lipsyncs to someone else’s lovely voice. They lipsync to Britney Spears’ ‘Stronger’ and their body language, how they hold the mike and how they keep up with the song becomes determining factors to judge whether they are a good singer or not.

After the first round, the judges deemed the Surfer to be a bad singer but Emily went with her gut and gave the Poet the chop and rightfully so because the Poet did in fact turn out to be a bad singer. Emily bagged a $10,000. For the second round the Harpist, Singer-songwriter and Boxer took the stage to perform Imagine Dragons’ ‘Believer’. Emily gives the Singer-songwriter the chop and once again guessed accurately and won another $10,000.

The Boxer and Surfer get the chop next and unfortunately both of them turned out to be great singers and Emily has two more singers/non-singer left. The next singer Emily decides to chop was the harpist and she too turned out to be a phenomenal singer. The tagline of the show goes, “bad is good and good is bad” but the last singer standing has to be good to be able to perform with the star singer of the day.

Jesse McCartney was the star singer and the last singer standing was the Broadway Belter. It could have gone either way for Emily and if he turned out to be a bad singer she could end up losing the $20,000 that she had previously won.  The mother of a newborn decided to quit the show to keep her money safe but to her dismay, the last man standing was actually a good singer and together with Jesse McCartney gave a beautiful performance to remember.

'I Can See Your Voice' airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on FOX.
