'I Can See Your Voice' Season 2: Is FOX series canceled? Release date, hosts, trailer and all you need to know about Ken Jeong's show
The popularity of 'The Masked Singer' that comes under the same genre of the music-guessing game show led to the network fast-tracking the release of ‘I Can See Your Voice'
Should viewers be expecting the second season of Fox’s 2020 release ‘I Can See Your Voice’ or is the show about to get canceled? The popularity of 'The Masked Singer' that comes under the same genre of the music-guessing game show led to the network fast-tracking the release of ‘I Can See Your Voice’.
With two back-to-back shows with Ken Jeong which viewers lovingly dubbed as #Kensday since they air back-to-back, the permanent 'TMS' judge also hosts 'I Can Hear Your Voice'. The first season of ‘I Can See Your Voice’ averages a 1.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.03 million viewers. Sure it didn’t retain 100% of the viewers of ‘The Masked Singer’, but it’s doing better than many of the other shows have over the past year and a half.
Unfortunately, there is no official news on renewal out there as of yet after Season 1’s finale episode on December 9. Stay tuned for updates.
Fox’s ‘I Can See Your Voice’ TV series is hosted by Ken Jeong and also features Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton as regular panelists. All three join a rotating panel of celebrity detectives, comprising comedians, pop culture experts and a musical superstar. The panel tries to help a contestant tell the difference between good and bad singers, without ever hearing them sing a note.
With $100,000 on the line, the contestant will attempt to weed out the bad “Secret Voices” from the good, based on a series of clues, interrogation and lip-synch challenges.
Kendrick Kang-Joh Jeong is an American stand-up comedian, actor, producer, writer, television personality and licensed physician. He has appeared in films ‘Knocked Up’, ‘Role Models’, ‘The Hangover’ film series, ‘Furry Vengeance’, ‘Ride Along 2’, and ‘Crazy Rich Asians’. Jeong played Ben Chang in NBC's ‘Community’ (2009–2015) and was the lead in the ABC sitcom ‘Dr. Ken’ (2015–2017). He was also the creator, writer, and executive producer of ‘Dr Ken’.
Hines is a director, producer, comedian and a two-time Emmy-nominated actress for her role in HBO's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and audiences might also recognize her from ABC's short-lived sitcom 'Suburgatory'.
Adrienne gained prominence for her role on 'Cheetah Girls' and her fallout with fellow 'CG' star Kiely Williams and the back and forth between them is something that is spoken about quite often. The singer, actress and entrepreneur is also the co-host of the daytime talk show 'The Real'.
'I Can See Your Voice' is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment. James McKinlay, Craig Plestis and Ken Jeong serve as the executive producers. The show is based on a South Korean format from CJ ENM.
