Should viewers be expecting the second season of Fox’s 2020 release ‘I Can See Your Voice’ or is the show about to get canceled? The popularity of 'The Masked Singer' that comes under the same genre of the music-guessing game show led to the network fast-tracking the release of ‘I Can See Your Voice’.

With two back-to-back shows with Ken Jeong which viewers lovingly dubbed as #Kensday since they air back-to-back, the permanent 'TMS' judge also hosts 'I Can Hear Your Voice'. The first season of ‘I Can See Your Voice’ averages a 1.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.03 million viewers. Sure it didn’t retain 100% of the viewers of ‘The Masked Singer’, but it’s doing better than many of the other shows have over the past year and a half.

Release date

Unfortunately, there is no official news on renewal out there as of yet after Season 1’s finale episode on December 9. Stay tuned for updates.

Plot

Fox’s ‘I Can See Your Voice’ TV series is hosted by Ken Jeong and also features Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton as regular panelists. All three join a rotating panel of celebrity detectives, comprising comedians, pop culture experts and a musical superstar. The panel tries to help a contestant tell the difference between good and bad singers, without ever hearing them sing a note.

With $100,000 on the line, the contestant will attempt to weed out the bad “Secret Voices” from the good, based on a series of clues, interrogation and lip-synch challenges.
