'I am polarizing': Pink reveals why Madonna 'doesn't like her'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pink has finally disclosed the reason why she believes Madonna is not a fan of her. During her February 22 appearance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show, the singer declared that the ‘Queen of Pop’ “doesn’t like me.” She also reportedly spoke about her new album ‘Trustfall’ and her ‘Summer Carnival 2.0’ concert tour with Stern.
When the 69-year-old radio and television personality questioned Pink about her dynamics with Madonna, she answered, “Some people just don’t like me... I’m a polarizing individual,” reported New York Post.

‘Such a silly story'
Recalling an undated encounter, saying it was “such a silly story,” the ‘Just Give Me a Reason’ songstress declared, “I f—ing love Madonna, and I love her no matter what. I still love her.” She went on to explain, “She was such an inspiration to me, but it sort of got twisted around that I was, like, fangirling and was dying to meet Madonna when, in actuality, she invited me to her dressing room.”
“So, I just said a joke when Regis brought me out and was like, ‘How does it feel to meet? I heard you’re just falling over yourself backstage.’ I’m like, ‘I thought she wanted to meet me,’” Pink went on to say that Madonna didn't like her sense of humor and that their equation just didn't work. Stern then jokingly told Pink, “I got a surprise for you, Madonna’s here and she’s going to fight you.”
‘It’s unfair’
The exchange comes after Pink supported Madonna and slammed people who criticized her look at the Grammy Awards. She told The Mirror, “It’s unfair, it’s always unfair, and it’s ageism. The attitude is no longer that person has been amazing for so long, it’s all about bashing them and I hate it. Let’s just give the people the respect they deserve and have earned, and be a bit nicer. Can we all be a bit nicer? I want to be nicer, to myself and others.”
She continued, “When a person walks out, the first thing I think is not: ‘Holy sh*t did you see their face?’ I don’t think like that. I think: ‘Holy sh*t, that person has been amazing for so long,” before adding, “It’s the same (with the bashing) of RIHANNA at the Super Bowl. Rihanna is one of the coolest people walking the Earth. She’s effortless, effortless cool.”
‘Can she just shut up at this point?’
Meanwhile, Pink’s recent statement to Stern has received a lot of backlash online, with a user tweeting, “I’m very disappointed in this new interview she made about Madonna. I mean what was the point? Taking the worst out of everyone and every meeting she had in her entire life? I don’t get it.” Another user wrote, “You're not the one, Pink. You're not even anyone.”
