SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA: Pink has opened up on how she keeps her children away from their device screens- by not letting them own any! The ‘Try’ singer, 43, who has two children- Willow, 11, and Jameson, 6, with husband Carey Hart, has forbidden her children from owning any kind of mobile phones or tablets. This is because she believes that their childhood will be a much better experience without them. She has also admitted that with regard to this, she has been a very strict mum, leaving no space for concessions.

"Willow says she is the only one in her class that doesn't have a phone. And I said, 'Well, that doesn't move my needle. I don't bend to peer pressure,'" the singer had said. She also recalled another experience when she had taken her kids on a camping trip, only for them to look at the other campers’ iPads in longing. "We were camping and all the kids had iPads at breakfast. My kids looked at me with tears in their eyes, like, 'Why can't we have an iPad?' But I knew they'd be the only two kids at the table that remembered this camping trip,” she said, according to AceShowbiz.

A mother’s guilt: Pink opens up on feeling bad as a parent

In addition to her children’s gadget ban, Pink had also opened up about her struggles as a parent trying not to feel guilty about taking time for herself. She admitted that while she spends most of her time around her children, she feels bad even if she takes an hour off to work out. "I even feel guilty when I go and play tennis for an hour. I am with them all the time. And they expect me to be there all the time. When I go outside to grab the newspaper, they freak out. Or they follow me to the bathroom."

Pink and Carey Hart: An enduring relationship

The singer has been married to her husband Carey Hart for seventeen years since 2006 and has attributed the longevity of their marriage to the amount of trust and hard work that goes into it. "Getting out of bed in the morning, going to work, dropping your kids at school, being in a relationship requires a lot of trust..." She then went on to add, "We still drive each other crazy and he still doesn't know how to take the trash out. But we celebrated on our 17th anniversary and said, 'Holy s***, who'd have thought it?'"
