How many properties does Scott McGillivray have?

Scott McGillivray, a marketing management graduate from the University of Guelph, embarked on his journey of owning properties by purchasing a house near campus. With his carpentry skills, he transformed the space and rented it to fellow students. This success led him to acquire two more houses the following year. Scott's expertise in home renovation and carpentry landed him a TV job on Debbie Travis' 'Facelift'. Today, at 45, he owns over 100 rental properties, including 15 in Guelph, and has a massive net worth of $4 Million.

Scott McGillivray's off-screen life

In 2009, he married his wife, Sabrina, whom he met in the 2000s. After a decade-long relationship, they decided to tie the knot. Apart from being an elementary school teacher, Sabrina is also a dancer. Together, they have two daughters. Balancing his career and family, McGillivray recognizes the importance of his loved ones, stating, "My wife and daughters are the best things ever...my family is now a priority." They divide their time between residences in Toronto and Fort Myers, Florida. Reflecting on his journey, McGillivray marvels at how it all began with a school project and the daring decision to make it a reality by purchasing his first house. He emphasizes the presence of opportunities, stating, "There are always opportunities out there. Sometimes they are harder to find, but they are there."

HGTV's 'Vacation House Rules' star Scott Mcgillivray is coming back to your screens on Saturday, June 3, at 9 pm ET/PT.
