AUSTIN, TEXAS; Cody Longo, who is most popularly known for playing the character Nicholas “Nikki” Alamain in NBC's daytime soap opera 'Days of Our Lives,' died at the age of 34. Authorities discovered the lifeless body of the soap star on Wednesday, February 8, at his residence in Austin, Texas.
Longo's wife called the police to conduct a welfare check as she became concerned about his whereabouts. His wife, Stephanie Nicole Clark, who works at a local dance studio, became worried when she could not contact her husband who is believed to have been battling with alcohol abuse. The authorities arrived at the scene and were forced to kick down the door when Longo did not respond. They found him dead in his bedroom. Longo's wife said, "He was an amazing father and the best husband. Our whole world is shattered," as per TMZ.
