BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: The 'Botched' besties Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif's adorable, brotherly bromance is unmatchable. Viewers love their friendly banters. The show 'Botched' first aired on June 24, 2014.

The two doctors have collaborated on many medical projects but their longtime friendship solidified their bond. The new season of E!'s 'Botched' will air on January 18, 2024, at 10 pm ET.

In an interview with Page Six, Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif revealed how they met.

In 1999 when Dr Nassif was in his Beverly Hills office, he got a call from his mother and sister. They told him about how they met a funny doctor in Newport Beach and said that Dr Nassif should meet him once.

Dr Dubrow's version is a little bit different as he said jokingly. He met Dr Nassif before he got married to his third wife. After Dr Dubrow met Dr Nassif's mother and sister, he found them nice and sweet. He decided that he should meet Dr Nassif. But Dr Dubrow joked about how Dr Nassif hadn't got those genes from his family. But the two went on to become friends forever.

He also mentioned they have maintained this level of comfort since the time they met two decades ago and nothing has changed ever since.

How did 'Botched' doctors Paul Nassif and Terry Dubrow maintain a 20-year-old friendship?

Sustaining a 20-year-old friendship, especially when both friends are involved in emergency services, is not easy.

Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif have set a prime example of how to do it, without ruining anything.

There were times when they did not connect for a month, due to their work or family pressure. But with just a funny text they connected again. Dr Dubrow is surely the funny one out, whereas Dr Nassif is warm, sweet, and loving, as Dr Dubrow defines him.

The funny banters are also a treat to watch in the series 'Botched', which otherwise would have been a boring medical reality series.

Is Heather Dubrow a third wheel to Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif

Heather, the wife of Dr Terry Dubrow and an important cast member of 'Real Housewives of Orange County', seems to third wheel to the 'Botched' doctors.

The friendship between the two plastic surgeons is a delight to watch but Heather points out that she isn't the odd one out when the 'Botched' doctors get together. Dr Nassif's wife, Brittany Nassif is placed in the same position as well. Heather also said that she had already been friends with Brittany.

Heather also said that she had known Dr Nassif since the time Dr Dubrow knew him. Dr Nassif is like a brother to her. She even said that when the two plastic surgeons get together they crack jokes on her and it is hilarious.

Do 'Botched' patients pay for the surgery?

The 'Botched' patients who make an appearance on the show get paid an 'appearance fee' by the makers. The patients can use that money to cover a portion of the 'Botched' doctors' fees.

Dr Dubrow said ethically, the surgeons need to get paid for the hard work they do four days a week. They get involved in such high-risk surgeries which are costlier than normal surgeries. It reaches up to $90,000 and $100,000 as it involves the use of several advanced technologies and tools
