'Botched' star Dr Paul Nassif, 57, and wife Brittany Pattakos are expecting their first child together
While the coronavirus pandemic has brought grim messages from across the world, there is some good news from Dr. Paul Nassif and wife Brittany Pattakos, who revealed they are expecting their first child together.
The 57-year-old 'Botched' star confirmed the news on Instagram, writing, "I’m so excited & blessed to announce that my wife @brittanypattakos and I are bringing a new life into this world."
He uploaded a picture of the ultrasound and also confirmed that the due date was October, though he said he did not yet know the sex of the child.
"October can’t come soon enough to meet my first baby girl or my fourth baby boy (yes, it’s going to be a surprise for me)!" he wrote. "All I know is I better get my diaper changing skills polished up. There is nothing like the feeling of holding a new born, especially when it’s my baby."
Many of the couple's fans congratulated them on social media on the news and wished them the best.
"I was just randomly thinking how I hoped you two would have babies! Congratulations! I pray you both have a happy and healthy baby and mom!" one wrote.
"Congratulations declaring Gods protection over your baby girl and your beautiful wife! Declaring it will be a wonderful experience for her and a blessing to your boys," a second posted.
"Ohh what tremendous joy. Thanks for sharing your beautiful blessing," another commented.
Speaking to E! News, they said Brittany had just hit 13 weeks and that their bundle of joy is due October 19.
"I'm very excited," Brittany shared. "I'm also a little nervous too, because it's a different experience, something new, especially when your body's changing. It's amazing what your body can do."
"I'm excited. I mean, of course, I'm excited," Paul added. "It's been a while, my youngest kids, my twins, just turned 14 yesterday. And obviously it's fun to be a dad again to a baby."
While it's the couple's first child together, Nassif is a father to three sons, 17-year-old Gavin and 14-year-old twins Christian and Colin, that he shares with ex-wife Adrienne Maloof.
Speaking about what it's like being a parent to a newborn, Paul said it was 'like riding a bike.' "I still remember most of it, all of it. Obviously it will be scarier for Brittany because it's her first time doing this," he said.
While pregnancy brings with it certain cravings that many mothers find irresistible, as well as a series of other conditions, Brittany revealed that she had not yet been afflicted by any.
"I haven't had any cravings and I haven't had morning sickness," she said. "I've had more of like acne breaking out. I've noticed my face is breaking out more. I'm tired, way more extreme than I ever thought it would be. But I've been exercising every day."
The couple said they had shared the amazing news of the pregnancy with his kids and their close family, as well as a message group of friends that consists of the likes of Kris Jenner, Kyle Richards, Corey Gamble, and Faye Resnick.
