'House Of Payne' Season 9 Episode 19 Preview: Can CJ stop Jazmine from being pressured into sex with Kaleb?
'House Of Payne' Season 9 is drawing to a close, with still many loose threads. The vape pen plot has been dragging for eternity, ever since CJ (Allen Payne) and Janine (Demetria McKinney) discovered it in Jazmine's (China Anne McClaine) pocket along with weed mints, Janine was frightened whether Jazmine would go through the same pain of drug addiction, just as she had done.
They realize that the source of their problem is Jazmine's boyfriend Kaleb. CJ is dismissive of him and promptly throws him out of the house when he comes home. However, that hasn't been the end of the vape pen plot or Kaleb.
Curtis (LaVan Davis) has had a go at the vape pen, and much to everyone's surprise so did Ella (Cassi Davis). They've been high for the past few episodes, and that has grated fans' nerves like nothing on earth. However, going by the finale synopsis, it turns out that we're going to switch focus back to Jazmine and Kaleb. I
f you remember, back at the beginning of the season, Jazmine had mentioned that her boyfriend was pressuring her to have sex.... a conversation that came up after Malik (Doc Shaw) revealed that he had gotten his girlfriend Lisa pregnant. That's another storyline we never got to hear about again.
The synopsis reads, "CJ forbids Kaleb from talking to Jazmine. Kaleb is putting extreme pressure on Jazmine to have sex with him for her first time, but Calvin comes in and rains on their parade. Curtis fails for Ella’s birthday."
Oh yes right, we forgot that Ella's birthday was coming up because the rest of the characters did. Ella had been planning for her birthday before the vape pen storyline emerged. Clearly, Curtis failed her on her birthday so that might be a fun watch.
Meanwhile, the questions on the lips: What happened to Calvin (Lance Gross) and Miranda (Keshia Knight Pulliam)? There was much back and forth about the two of them and whether they would get back together, but there's been no word on that front.
Well, let's see what happens in the finale of Season 9. 'House Of Payne' airs on Wednesdays on BET at 8 pm.
