Time to get your head in the game Wildcats, as 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' opens its doors for a sneak peek on ABC and Freeform ahead of its official premiere date on Disney+.

On Friday night, fans and viewers were given a look inside the 10-episode series when ABC and Freeform aired episode 1 titled 'Auditions' on their networks. After watching it fans who were skeptical prior to the premiere now can't wait for the series to launch on Disney+ as they are hooked to the series and like the way the storyline goes.

Especially with the unique castings for the play. Ashley Tisdale might have played Sharpay Evans in the original musical, but in the winter play East High is staging, they cast Seb Matthew Smith (Joe Serafini) as Sharpay and fans love that.  Apart from that fans also stated that they loved the entire episode and can't wait to see the rest of the season when Disney+ launches on November 12th.

Throughout the first episode, we were introduced to the main characters in the series and received the inside scoop into their personal lives apart from the drama on stage. The episode, apart from having the original movie music tracks featured, also featured some new tracks of their own, that wasn't so bad. Taking to Twitter post the episode, fans couldn't help but rave about the first episode and how they can't wait for the series to launch, so they can see what it holds.

"#HSMTMTS from what I saw it is pretty amazing have to check out on @disneyplus," wrote a fan. Adding to that another said, "can’t wait to watch #HSMTMTS as soon as i can!!! i’m already so proud of you all."
