However, her time with the messy Gallagher brood might be finally coming to an end, after the actress, in an unexpected move, announced her departure from the long-running series.
Taking to social media on Thursday, the 31-year-old actress broke the news, confirming that she is indeed parting ways with 'Shameless' - a popular adaptation of the British series, which premiered back in 2011.
"It’s a hard thing to put into words, feelings. But I’m going to try," Rossum began, explaining the reason behind her sudden exit from the award-winning comedy.
