'Help! I Wrecked My House': Jasmine finds a damaged water system in the house, will this halt the renovation?
Jasmine Roth is known for fixing the home wreckage that some people face when they take renovation in their hands, and in the season premiere of the show, she decided to help Heather and Kevin. The pair had been living in their house for nearly six months and even though they had the initial items in place, they struggled to find something they can finish completely.
Heather and Kevin admitted that it was hard for them to figure out the right tile or plumbing system and it affected their decision of renovating their house completely. Right from the kitchen to the bathroom, there were things that Jasmine had to take care of. In the kitchen, Heather and Kevin found it hard to choose a tile that would make their house look homely. Jasmine had to make sure that those were fixed to ensure the kitchen looked complete. Meanwhile, the office area had a patch of wall that was unfinished. The pair admitted they never found a way to complete it. While the office area did not look like a lot of work, Jasmine was shocked to find the unfinished work in the bathroom area.
Kevin revealed they decided to make another bathroom in the hope that it could be a relaxing space for Heather. Unfortunately, the pair was not able to understand how to style it or the water system used in the bathroom. The pair also wanted Jasmine to help them out with their backyard. They wanted a backyard that was welcoming and allowed them to have some relaxing time. After looking at the renovation that the house would need, Jasmine was quick to ask the type of house they would want. Kevin revealed that they were looking for something that was timeless, elegant, and simple. With a budget of $80,000 Jasmine knew she had a lot up her sleeves. While everything was going fine, she was shocked to find out that the water system was wrong. Looking at the plumbing in the house she realized that the bathroom water was coming upwards rather than going downwards to the drain.
She decided to work on it rather than see it as a disadvantage. Luckily, she was able to get things fixed on time and started with the renovation needed for the rest of the house. Right from bringing new tiles to creating a layout that would be suitable for Heather, Kevin, their baby, and the dogs, Jasmine transformed the house. After spending a month away from home, it was finally time for Kevin and Heather to come see their house. Once the pair had a complete look at the house, they were shocked and thankful to Jasmine for finally getting their house done.
