'Hell's Kitchen' Season 19 Episode 2 Spoilers: Is Lisa Vanderpump served raw food on Gordon Ramsay show?
Hit culinary competition series ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ returned for its 19th season in a flashy new setting, as Chef Gordon Ramsay took the show to Las Vegas, the city that’s home to Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Caesars Palace.
For the first time ever, 18 aspiring chefs from around the country roll the dice and head to Sin City in the hopes of winning big as the winner of this season will receive a position as a head chef at Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen Restaurant in Lake Tahoe. Prior to the United States premiere, the season began airing in the United Kingdom in October 2020 on ITV2.
This year, we saw the signature dish challenge was changed to a cook-off between two chefs, one from each team. Both would go head-to-head with the same ingredients they received from a slot machine containing proteins, vegetables and starch.
Ramsay judged each dish on a scale of 1 to 5. While cooking his signature dish, Kenneth finished cooking his dish with 20 minutes to spare being the second person to do this after JP in Season 13.
First, Declan's New York strip received 5 points while Nikki's New York striploin received 4 points. Then, Syann's filet mignon received 2 points because of raw cauliflower served on the side and Cody's filet mignon got 3 points for having great flavor but bad presentation. Next, Kenneth's chicken scored only 1 point since it was badly burnt despite him finishing too early, while Kori's chicken dish scored 4.
In the halibut round, Lauren scored 3 points for having too much pasta, while Drew scored 2 points because his pasta lacked salt. Next, Mary Lou scored 2 points for her salmon because of lack of seasoning and raw rice, whereas Eliott also scored 2 points for removing the salmon's skin.
Adam's lamb received 4 points while Jordan's lamb received 3 points. Peter and Amber both received 4 points on their ribeyes. On scallops, Fabiola scored 3 points while Josh scored 2 for his burnt kale. Finally, Marc's pork loin dish received 5 points after Brittani's pork chop only scored 2 because it was overcooked, giving the men a 28-27 win.
The men were rewarded with dinner at Gordon Ramsay's Steak House with Ramsay himself joining them. The women were punished with cleaning the Caesar Palace fountain. Sous Chef Christina berated Fabiola, Jordan and Mary Lou for not maintaining a serious attitude during the punishment.

The chefs assembled outside the front entrance to see a helicopter hovering. Somebody from the helicopter kicked a crate out and the episode ends on a cliffhanger before it hits the ground.

In the second episode, Ramsay will be opening up the chef tables for two VIP families. Wayne Brady and his family will eat in the blue kitchen, while Lisa Vanderpump and her husband will be eating in the red kitchen. In the dining room, there will be Antonio Fargas and Erik Kilpatrick.
After leaving the lobster uncooked and serving too few scallops, Nikki gets an earful thrashing from Ramsay and breaks down. Will the women successfully complete service or will they again lose to the men?
You can watch Ramsay return to television on Season 19 of 'Hell’s Kitchen' at 8 pm on Thursday, January 7, on Fox.
