‘Haseul is the future’ trends: K-pop fans cheer Loona singer making a comeback after citing anxiety issues

Haseul took a Hiatus last year from the album promotions and major activities of the group as the singer cited facing anxiety issues and was advised to take a break

For Loona fans, the starting of the week is already beginning to be a lot brighter as they welcome Haseul back from Hiatus. Loona fans known as Orbits also join a fun trivia game where all the answers will be Haseul. Fans call it a ‘Haseul lockdown’ after getting a selfie from the singer through fan cafe chats.

Loona fans have been extremely supportive in the recovery process as they waited patiently for the ‘Let Me In’ crooner’s betterment of health.

Haseul was diagnosed with intermittent anxiety symptoms in January 2020 and took a hiatus for almost a year. Loona’s agency Blockberry Creative also clarified that the K-pop crooner will not be seeing promoting the recent comebacks due to health concerns. The hiatus lasted for almost a year as in December 2020, news surfaced that Haseul will be back shortly as Loona will be OT12 again in 2021. Prior to a few days before Loona’s ‘Star’ live performance, fans are wondering if Haseul will be joining the live performance as well.

‘Haseul from Loona is back’

After Haseul posted a picture online on a fan cafe, Loona fans went in frenzy as, after a lot of wait, the singer is finally back on social media. A fan said, “i have decided that i will be postponing school in order to focus on haseul from loona!” Another fan posted, “this is a haseul from loona lockdown, everyone else go home!” Another posted, “mcyttwt moots if you see me posting pictures of this girl it's because my Orbit side is happy crying atm bc this girl is Jo Haseul from LOONA and she's been in hiatus for 2  years and now SHE POSTED... FEW DAYS B4 STAR'S FIRST LIVE PERFORMANCE!” Another posted, “#WelcomeBackHaseul haseul from loona is the future!”

Loona ended 2020 in a grand note with their EP '[12:00]' making a mark in U.S music charts as the EP made its way in Billboard 200. Plus their single 'Star' also received a fair number of radio plays standing at 39 in the Top 40 pop radio airplay chart. With Haseul preparing to join the K-pop supergroup, fans are excited to see what Loona unpacks in 2021.
