'Deliver by Christmas': Meet Eion Bailey, Alvina August and rest of the cast of Hallmark's holiday drama
Hallmark is all set to release its next holiday film, 'Deliver by Christmas', to beat your pandemic blues. The channel recently announced that it will premiere a total of 40 holiday films from October 23, 2020, and this film is one of those.
The official synopsis of 'Deliver by Christmas' reads, "Molly meets Josh, a widower who recently moved to town with his young son. At the same time, she is charmed by a mysterious client of her bakery whom she's never met in person, and doesn't realize that they're one and the same."

Eion Bailey
Born on June 8, 1976, Eion Francis Hamilton Bailey is known for his appearances in the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO miniseries 'Band of Brothers', his work in 'Fight Club', 'Almost Famous', 'Center Stage' and 'And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself'. He also bagged a nomination for a Golden Satellite Award and was hailed by critics for a "beautifully understated performance that brings a striking balance to the piece".
Alvina August
Alvina August is a Zimbabwean-Canadian actress who is known for playing the character of Detective Karen Hart in The CW's television series' Nancy Drew'. She has also appeared in superhero drama 'The Boys' which is executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Most recently, August heavily recurred in 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' as well as in a show titled, 'Siren'. Additionally, she has appeared opposite Freddie Highmore in 'The Good Doctor' and has made several guest-starring roles in the hit shows 'Suits', 'Supernatural' and 'Arrow'. She has appeared in the lead role in the 2019 film titled, 'Motivated Seller' by Deon Taylor.
August will be playing the character of Molly in the film, talking about the film's shooting during the Covid-19 pandemic, she told, Media Village, "It's the phone conversations that start our relationship," she said. "It might have been art imitating life, but that’s how it worked out. We weren’t put in any situation where we didn't feel safe, and honestly, they did everything to ensure that the production ran smoothly and that everyone was adapting as best as we could, given the new situations. Everyone was so happy to be back at work. We all just wanted to make something amazing, and it was even more important to do that for this time of year."
Jim Thorburn
Jim Thorburn has appeared in the successful Fox series 'The X-Files'. He has also appeared in TV series 'Millennium' (1996), 'Paradise Falls' (2001), 'Blackstone' (2009) and in a recurring guest star role on SyFy's hit thriller 'Helix' (2014). Jim has guest-starred on multiple shows, including FOX's 'Fringe' (2008), 'Smallville' (2001), 'Psych' (2006), 'Degrassi: The Next Generation' (2001), 'Motive' (2013) and 'Republic of Doyle' (2010).
'Deliver by Christmas' will release on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, October 25.
