'Guardians of the Glades' kicked off its second season this week and while the pythons seemed as feisty as ever, it was the dirty laundry that really seemed to be the highlight of the episode.

Dusty 'Wildman' Crum and the rest of the 'Guardians of the Glades' team get down and dirty in the Florida Everglades, hunting down a python that's been eating pigs from the farms. Jay Starr, Gary Clark, Tom Cobb, and Brittany Borges start off by scoping out the swamps with their sniffer dog for the predators that lurk in the dark, to discover more than a dozen hatchlings.

The crew comes into play to try and control the snake population that has been plaguing Florida. Considered the largest subtropical wilderness in the US, the Everglades is a wetland paradise but with the population of the Burmese Python — which has already decimated more than 90 percent of certain mammal and bird species in parts of the area, it's another story.

The episode also gives us a sneak peek into what Crum does with the dead pythons, from skinning them to making trainers and designer clutches to separating the meat for other use. It's a pretty brutal show for those who aren't too keen to watch pink flesh being exposed as burly men pull on the skin of a dead snake. In a nutshell, it's intense.

The crew catches the snakes as long as 10 feet, all trying to get their fangs into them. However, the highlight of the premiere episode is just the gang discussing wearing their "cleanest dirty shirt" and "turning their underwear inside out" while chilling after a day's work.

Brittany, who is the youngest of the gang and who usually feels at home with the boys, is grossed out. She tells the men she'd never want to know what their crusty underwear looks like. Right at this moment is when the adrenalin from the python hunt in the entire episode turns into just plain old cringe.

'Guardians of the Glades' Season 2 airs every Tuesday at 10 pm ET only on Discovery and Discovery GO.
