Angela Simmons has been an integral part of the show since it all started. Naturally, she has a lot to contribute to the narrative. Her life has always been front and center of the docu-series and this season will be no different.
After baby daddy Sutton Tennyson's death, it took some time for Angela to heal. Although there were rumors that she was dating someone in 2019, she focused on moving on and found boxer Daniel 'Miracle Man' Jacobs, a two-time middleweight world champion. Did Angela and Daniel split?
Given how she's had a few publicized breakups, first with Bow Wow and then Sutton, the mother-of-one likes to keep it down a notch. Even when they confirmed their relationship on social media, it was with a subtle post on Instagram: 'TKO'. This was followed by a few videos and photos, in which Angela would cheer for Daniel wearing #TEAMJACOBS clothing. However, she never went overboard in expressing her love for Daniel on social media but that never alerted her many fans.
It was when she shared a sensuous photo of hers on December 29, 2020, that worried fans. The post came with the lyrics of 'Speak', a track that is about "women expressing themselves freely after dealing with a repressive romantic partner," Atlanta Black Star reported. This led users to speculate if they had called it quits because the pictures of her and Daniel were gone from her account.
Although none of the two have confirmed the news of their split or given a reason why the pictures are not around anymore, it would serve as a huge blow to Angela especially after having documented a lot of their story on the show. The WE tv-backed series seems to have dedicated a lot of its air time to Angela and Daniel's budding romance.
A look at her previous relationships
Angela and Bow Wow first met when she was 17. Theirs was never a stable relationship but the couple managed to spend a good amount of time together. The first time they split was when she said she would like to stay a virgin until she got married. "Our bond was like a Martin and Gina thing,” Bow Wow said on the show previously and added: "There will always be that question of What if."
Her life with Atlanta businessman Sutton seemed settled. They were engaged and welcomed baby boy Sutton Joseph. However, soon they called time on their relationship. Talking to The Breakfast Club, she explained why they quit. "Things don't always work," Angela said and added: "You can plan, plan, plan, but God sometimes has another plan or your actions are going to have your plan change drastically. ... Personally, things change. People come in and out of your life. People change and you just have to be willing to accept that."
