'Grey's Anatomy' Season 17 Episode 4 Promo: After Derek, will Mark and Lexie visit Meredith when she's dying?
'Grey's Anatomy' Season 17 is doling out nostalgic feels for its fans. After the surprise return of Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), the preview for the next episode teased that someone else from her past will return too. Meredith has lost a lot of people in her life, including her sister, Lexie (Chyler Leigh), mother Ellis, friend George O' Malley (TR Knight), along with her own father, Thatcher. So, who's going to show up on that limbo-like beach?
Fans are praying that it is Meredith's younger sister Lexie, who died in the devastating plane crash of Season 9. "I’M JUST SAYING IT BETTER BE LEXIE OR GEORGE #GreysAnatomy," a fan tweeted. Mark (Eric Dane) and Lexie were one of the most-loved couples on GA, but like most of the other couples on the show, their love story was short-lived as well, due to unnecessary complications. And then, well Lexie died in the plane crash, but not after Mark confessed his love to her. Shortly after, Mark succumbed to injuries from the plane crash as well. Currently. Season 17 has been sprinkled with references to the old characters from GA, and fans are hoping that Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Alex (Justin Chambers) would come to be there for their best friend.
