It's Season 17 of 'Grey's  Anatomy', and we've already received a jolt. Our very own Jo Karev (Camilla Luddington) asked for a 'sexual favor' from Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams). Now that's something that no one saw coming, and they're really not looking forward to it. For starters, they make for a really odd couple, and how about we give Jackson a better and more interesting storyline, hmm?

For the past few seasons, Jackson has shunted from woman to woman and has lacked depth. Jo's husband, the ever-reliable Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), left her for his ex-wife Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl), which received heavy backlash from fans. It went against everything Alex had believed in and negated his character development for the past sixteen years.

There are usually mixed reactions to Jo, as most fans find her cute, while others find her dead annoying. People don't ship Jo and Jackson and their awkward flirting in the OR is even more cringe-worthy. Seriously, 'Grey's Anatomy', what's your plan?

"(I don’t like this Jackson & Jo entanglement) #GreysAnatomy," a fan tweeted. "Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy nooooooo no Jackson and Jo #GreysAnatomy," a fan wrote. "I don’t even like Amelia and I miss her! Anything is better than this Jo bulls**t #GreysAnatomy," a fan tweeted. "This is so cringey watching Jo and Jackson do this. Like I can’t #GreysAnatomy," a fan tweeted. "Jo and Jackson?!!!! Nope! Nope! Nope! Hell no!!!! #GreysAnatomy," a fan wrote.

However, the sex scene doesn't happen as Jo starts sobbing in the middle of it and Jackson has to comfort her. Meanwhile, there are several other storylines to address in 'Grey's Anatomy', including Owen Hunt (Kevin Hunt) and Teddy Altman's (Kim Raver) awkwardness. Owen stood Teddy up at the altar after hearing her have sex with Tom Koracick (Greg Germann). The two can't see eye-to-eye, and meanwhile, Tom seems to be having a breakdown as Teddy didn't even want to get together with him. All this relationship drama is happening in the middle of handling the Covid-19 pandemic that has struck the world.

'Grey's Anatomy' airs on Thursdays at 9 pm on ABC.
