'Grey's Anatomy' is back after a long winter break! Thankfully there was no death after the car crash at Joe's bar and the new episode brought plot twists around love, loss and a new baby. Moreover, there was a big proposal as Owen Hunt finally went down on his knees for Teddy Altman. Amid all the chaos, Amelia Shepherd told Link that their baby was going to be a boy.

After all the new developments, fans can't wait to see how the showrunners take the story forward, even though it is difficult to watch without their favorite character, Alex Karev. In a new promo, Amelia tells Link: "There's a chance that you aren't the father." Moreover, Teddy loses the ring Owen gave her. Things are about to get complicated between these four characters.

Titled 'A Hard Pill to Swallow', the summary of the next episode reads: "Richard finds out Maggie quit Grey Sloan and is concerned about how she's handling the death of her patient who was her estranged cousin. Bailey returns to work after taking some personal time off, although Koracick doesn't make her first day as easy as she'd like. Meanwhile, Meredith thinks she might miss DeLuca, and Amelia has an update for Link on her pregnancy."

So what could the new update on Amelia's pregnancy be? With doubt looming over whether the baby's father is Link or Owen, isn't it a big scare? "Owen doesn't deserve more babies. He's a terrible character. And Amelia deserves to be FREE from him," one viewer posted and another wrote, "I'm not here for a Brady Bunch family with Owen, Amelia & Teddy. Let this baby be Link's and let him & Amelia be happy."

Many fans are pissed. "So basically they are ruining a healthy relation between Link and Amelia for an unnecessary storyline," one tweet read and another said, "The only thing that matters right now is that baby boy is going to have a great mom. Amelia is going to be a great mom."

Wouldn't it be a relief if that confusion is sorted in the next episode? Directed by Michael Medico and written by Adrian Wenner, the episode will air Thursday, January 30, 2020.
