'Gordon Ramsey's 24 Hours to Hell And Back' Season 3 Episode 2: Fans slam restaurant owner Lou for his attitude
On his second adventure to turn around a restaurant business, Ramsay heads to New Jersey in an attempt to change the face of Blend on Main, a family-owned restaurant in a tourist town.
The eatery has been struggling hard to stay afloat in the off-season, but there are plenty of legit reasons for that. Ramsay sends his friend James in disguise (and himself) to discover the real problems and is appalled by what he finds.
From spoiled food to the horrible attitude of the owner Lou, the restaurant has a series of problems that have not only been affecting the business but also Lou's relationship with his wife Tara.
While Gordon slams the owner for his approach to business, fans have been ranting about Lou's behavior towards his wife and kitchen staff.
A fan pointed out, "Chef Lou has missed holidays. His marriage is falling apart. By midservice, the staff is at war. This is probably the most dysfunctional staff that Gordon has dealt with. #24HoursFOX."
Another fan thought that Lou "gotta keep home and work separate...at least, I have to. #24HoursFox". His abusive attitude was seemingly de-motivating his wife and the rest of the staff.
Lou showed further narrow-mindedness by pointing out how women cannot handle kitchen jobs and that flipped Ramsay and fans alike. As one fan commented, "Lou sounds like he needs an anger management class burning bridges left and right #24HoursFOX"
Another fan agreed, "If your anger makes you lash out at people, don't run a restaurant. #24HoursFOX"
Ramsay was highly disappointed at how Lou thought and dealt with his family and employees. This has been affecting the service, food quality, and overall dining experience. With his team, the culinary legend was now all set to turn around Blend on Main.
