'Good Trouble' Season 2B Episode 12: Is Dennis willing to accept Davia's help to honor his son's memory?
Season 2B of Freeform's 'Good Trouble' premiered last week. The latest offering of the series, similar to the first half, follows the Foster sisters Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) while diving into the lives of residents of The Coterie.
Episode 12 sees Callie taking time off her busy schedule to help Wilson, who is grieving the loss of his son Tate. Meanwhile, Mariana appoints her boyfriend Raj as the head of her app team, which ends up in her fellow female colleagues loathing her for sidelining them and having a man as their head.
Meanwhile, Malika (Zuri Adele) is trying to mend her relationship with Isaac as she isn't sure how much she has until she begins to face the consequences of her recent actions, by being the forefront of BLM.
Amid all this, the episode also witnessed a lot happen between Dennis (Josh Pence) and Davia (Emma Hunton), teasing us with new possibilities, just when we thought their relationship had come to a standstill.
Davia's opinion of Dennis was altered upon learning about his son’s demise. Although in the previous episode he irks her by digging into her past relationship, Davia realizes she can’t remain upset with him for too long, making her feelings for him evident.
Dennis relies on alcohol to hide his pain, pushing Davia away as always. However, this time, Davia was determined to see what he was hiding in the room that kept him locked for the majority of his time. However, she’s devastated to see a larger than life puzzle of his son's picture on the wall.
Davia tells Dennis that she can't honor his son's memories by not honoring his own life and enrolls him in a support group. While this could possibly mark the new beginning in Dennis' life, we need to wait and watch if seeking outside help would draw him close to Davia.
However, Davia is more concerned about protecting a person she dearly cares about who is leaning towards giving up on life. Will the support group help Dennis cope with the ultimate loss of his life?
Episode 13 of 'Good Trouble' Season 2B will air on January 29 on Freeform.
