Golden Globes 2021 is just around the corner and the buzz regarding one of the biggest days of entertainment for the year is at an all-time high. Though a number of formats of the award had to be changed this year due to the pandemic, some rituals like a grand pre-show before kickstarting the main event will stay intact.
The Golden Globes 2021 staged by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association and Dick Clark Productions will take place on February 28. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be hosting the main ceremony. This is the first year that the hosts will not share a stage together.
According to reports, Fey will be presenting the Globes from the Rainbow Room in New York City while Poehler will be aired from the Beverly Hilton. Golden Globes pre-show will commence at 6:30 pm EST on February 28 and continue for 90 minutes up to the ceremony.
Hosts
NBC Access Hollywood entertainment reporter Zuri Hall will be co-hosting the pre-show along with actress and singer Disney’s ‘Descendants’ famed Sofia Carson.
Zuri Hall took it to Twitter to share the hosting event with a tweet that said, “Pinch me! I’m so excited to announce I’ll be hosting the official @GoldenGlobes pre-show — before the awards show kicks off on @NBC! HFPA Presents: Globes Countdown Live on Twitter! Tune-in Sun, Feb 28 at 6:30pm ET / 3:30pm PT”.

Rasha Goel and Scott Mantz will be appearing for a short while to talk to stars virtually. The list of commentators includes The Viall Files podcast host Nick Viall and comedian Fortune Feimster. Reports suggest that hosts AJ Gibson and Emile Ennis Jr will also be making an appearance on the pre-show.
