BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Michelle Yeoh yet again proved her skills by bagging 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical, or Comedy' at the Golden Globe Awards 2023. Yeoh starred in 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' as Evelyn Quan Wang and absolutely slayed the character. She was seen alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Ke Huy Quan, and more. Now, while she was accepting the award, the pianist tried to cut her off and she right away told him to "Shut up." Yeoh also said, "I can beat you up." This moment sent the fans into a frenzy and they are absolutely adoring the actress. 

The 60-year-old actress accepted the award at the Golden Globe Awards 2023 and gracefully took the stand. She starts, "I'm just gonna stand here and take this all in. 40 years. Not letting go of this. So just quickly, Hollywood foreign press for giving me this honor. It's been an amazing journey." She continued, "Look at this face. I came here and was told 'You're a minority'. I'm like 'That's not possible'." When Yeoh starts saying, "Then came along the best gift - Everything Everywhere All-' she was cut off by the pianist. However, the 'Shang-Chi' actress was not having it. She quickly replied, "Shut up, please! I can beat you up, okay? And that's serious." This moment settled with the fans as they cheered for Yeoh.

'She earned that speech'

One fan backed up Yeoh and wrote, "I wasn't mad at all. She wanted her damn time!" Another user reflected on her journey and commented, "She's been waiting 40yrs. They can give her 4min. She deserves that much to enjoy her moment" A user wrote, "And u don’t think cutting people off with music is rude??? Congrats on a long overdue recognition and award. #MichelleYeoh" Another fan claims the actress "earned that speech" and tweeted, "She earned that speech after working her ass off for 40 years so sit back and be quiet" One more user wrote, "They should’ve cut that stupid ass opening monologue to give the winners more time to talk!"
