NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The highly-anticipated awards season has finally begun with the 32nd annual Gotham Awards handing out trophies to the visionary talent in front of and behind the camera. A24s blockbuster hit ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ emerged as the biggest winner of the night as it edged past movies like ‘TAR’ and ‘Aftersun’ to win the Best Feature Film accolade. The movie sees Michelle Yeoh playing the role of a Chinese immigrant named Evelyn Wang who gets tangled in an epic adventure where she is forced to connect with other versions of herself in several parallel universes to stop someone who intends to harm the multiverse.

The film went on to become A24’s biggest-ever movie and earned universal acclaim. On the other hand, Ke Huy Quan, who portrayed the character of Waymond Wang in the movie, took home the Outstanding Supporting Actor trophy and gave an emotional speech about how he had “no job” last year while thanking everyone who supported the entire cast and crew to make this movie. On the other hand, Danielle Deadwyler received the Outstanding Lead Performance accolade for her performance in the drama movie ‘Till’ which is based on the true story of Mamie Till-Bradley, an educator and activist who pursued justice after the murder of her 14-year-old son in 1965.
