Golden Disc Awards 2021 set for two days straight turned up the heat with one after another dazzling K-pop performances. From BTS, Stray Kids, Twice, GOT7, and (G)-Idle, here are all the K-pop performances of Day 2 which instantly became the buzz on social media.

Twice



 

South Korea’s popular girl-group Twice set the tone of Day 2 of GDA with a fierce stage performance of their hit tracks ‘Cry For Me’ and ‘More and More’. The nine-member K-pop act who also won Bonsang on the Album division day performed their flawless choreography in vintage Red and Black outfits embodying the bold concepts of their latest released track ‘Cry For Me’. 



 

Stray Kids



 

Stray Kids snagged the trophy of the Best Performance award at the 35th edition of Golden Disc Awards. The fourth-generation K-pop super-group who have made their name in TIME's 2020 list of best songs with ‘Back Door’, performed ‘God’s Menu’ and ‘Back Door’ in all its true vigor. The group seamlessly blended traditional Korean dance forms and dance attires with a modern twist of sharp choreography on their performance and Stray Kids fans couldn’t stop talking about the power this eight-member K-pop act consisting of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. holds. 



 

(G)-Idle



 

(G)-Idle also bagged the trophy for Best Performance at GDA 2021 for showing off innovative stage performances and sharp choreographies. The six-member K-pop supergroup consisting of Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua performed a sizzling rendition of ‘Oh My God’ from their third EP titled ‘I Trust’.



 

GOT7



 

Globally famed K-pop group GOT7 performed their supposed last stage performance under JYP Entertainment before the group reportedly calls of their contract with the entertainment mogul. The K-pop septet came in all white attires and ramped up the stage with their lead single ‘Breath’ of the last album ‘Breath of Love: Last Piece’ and ‘Not By The Moon’. The group made their fans' hearts swoon with powerful vocals and top-notch choreography.



 

BTS 



 

Grammy-nominated, Billboard Hot 100 topping, K-pop group BTS performed at the end of Golden Disc Awards and BTS Army couldn’t get enough of their unique performance where they brought back some of the concept photo stages of their latest album ‘BE’ with ‘Life Goes On’, a vibrant color blocking stage for the slow jam remix of Grammy-nominated ‘Dynamite’, and a suave stage of ‘On’ and ‘Black Swan’. As BTS Army puts it, every time that the K-pop acts perform, they bring back another innovative stage and we are here for it!

The ending day of GDA 2021 was a true bop-fest with the K-pop groups performing their latest hit tracks. A Twice fan commented, “Jihyo knows she's meant to be on stage and that's attractive af!” Another of BTS Army said, “Thank you bangtan for the amazing performance that you have given to us and so happy to see all seven of you. Congratulations on your awards, you worked hard. We love you! Congrats to us ARMYs as well!” An excited Stray Kids fan spilled facts, “everything about this performance is jaw dropping, even on the biggest stages stray kids never disappoints!”
