'GMA' star Michael Strahan accidentally spills the beans on co-host Robin Roberts' wedding date
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Good Morning America’ was laden with huge celebrations for the upcoming wedding of its leading host Robin Roberts, and her long-time partner Amber Laign.
The studio was decked up for an on-air bachelorette party that saw co-host George Stephanopoulos, Lara Spencer, Ginger Zee, and Michael Strahan play their role in the celebrations.
However, despite adding a certain flavor to the program with his stripping antics, Strahan also made a small blunder that revealed something that Roberts had been keeping under wraps.

The former NFL star gave away too much information and accidentally revealed that Roberts and Laign's wedding will take place in a “few weeks.”
The Wednesday, August 16 broadcast of the morning show had a theme of 'Road to the Ring Bachelorette Party', on behalf of the same-sex couple's wedding engagement.
Toward the end of the show, Strahan, brought the show back from a commercial break, disclosing that the live "bachelorette party was still in full swing.”
However, it was at this moment that the ex-NFL star divulged a little too much about the wedding. Michael mentioned that the wedding would be happening in "a few weeks.”
Michael’s statement was in complete contradiction to what Roberts informed her fans about her wedding in one of her ‘GlamFam’ videos which she posts every morning on weekdays.
Robin Roberts’ cryptic response to a fan about wedding date
A few weeks ago, an ardent fan pushed Roberts to disclose the date of her wedding by commenting on one of her morning prayer videos.
She teased the details of her impending marriage, giving away only what seemed necessary at that hour.
The fan asked in the comment section, "August brides? Love you RR!”
Robin replied in the comments, "Not August, but you're close!” The fan instantly wrote back in a bid to try to learn about the date. They commented, "There are only 4 remaining after August!"

Robin's excitement was palpable even in her short replies. Although she didn’t reply to the comment, it was clear that the wedding was right around the corner.
There's still no exact date for when the pair will marry, but it seems to be soon. With Strahan spilling the beans live on-air, fans' excitement about Roberts' big day is through the roof.
