The next big release from the Marvel stable for 2018 is the Paul Rudd-starrer 'Ant-Man and the Wasp'.

And looks like the comic book adaptation giant, fresh off the success of their record-breaking blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War, is doing everything in their power to keep the buzz alive. In fact, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were treated to a special surprise over the Memorial Day break, in the form of a brand new teaser clip from their upcoming release. Lasting roughly around half a minute, the video appeared to be jam-packed with action and it also teased a look at the film's antagonist - Ghost (starring Hannah John-Kamen).

"We've unleashed something powerful, we have to stop her," Evangeline Lilly played by Hope van Dyne says in the clip immediately moving on to some serious ghost-busting action. At one point, the Ghost, whom fans have come to know as a villain from the Quantum Realm, is even seen phasing through solid walls - an early glimpse perhaps for what lies in store for Ant-Man and his partner, Wasp!

Amidst all the crazy size-transforming, ass-kicking scenes, however, Rudd's character Scott Lang stands out with his comic breaks. He even goes on to prepare a to-do-list detailing the plan of action tackling John-Kamen's Ghost while a worried-looking father-daughter duo Hope and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) look on.

"If you want to do something right, you make a list,” Lang explains in the short teaser, laying out what's supposed to be his plan for bringing down their latest foe. "We have to team up... we have to fight Ghost... we are gonna track down Ghost."

"Also we have to save the world, that's major," Rudd's character adds, clearly realizing the haphazard state of his plan. Considering the 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' title is all about the comic book heroes' powers to shrink and expand, fans can also expect a lot of size-changing technology in the flick - a glimpse of which is aptly teased in the latest video.

Directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige, the film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, who will be needing some major rescuing this time around.  'Ant-Man and the Wasp' hits theaters on July 6.
