George Clooney's 'gentle word' helped Julia Roberts and Danny Moder fix their 20-year marriage
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: George Clooney reportedly helped Julia Roberts and Danny Moder bring their 20-year long marriage back on track. "He had a gentle word with Julia and told her to go easy on Danny,” sources reportedly said. The rift between Roberts and her husband seemed to have grown due to the couple's busy work schedule. However, after speaking with Clooney, the pair reportedly developed a very new viewpoint as sources reportedly said, "It's known among their friends that 2022 has been a tough year. It's thanks to good friends like George that they're back on track."
As per RadarOnline, sources further said, "They're devoted parents [to twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 18, and Henry, 15] with a lot of love for each other still. Another friend of Roberts reportedly revealed, "Julia puts on a brave face, but for months their friends have been openly talking about them spending less time together,” adding that the pair actually never discussed their problems.

From the beginning, Roberts and Moder's relationship has been challenging. He was already married when they first met, and Roberts was dating actor Benjamin Bratt. In 2002, Moder got a divorce, and that same summer, he married Roberts. Meanwhile, Roberts and Moder have worked together on a number of projects, and she credited her husband for helping her perfect her role in 'The Secret in Their Eyes'. She said in an interview with Us Magazine, "We've done a number of things together, and it's always kind of nerve-wracking for me because he's my husband and I want him to think I'm awesome. But this was a collaboration where I realized that if he hadn't been there I don't think I could have fashioned together the performance that I wanted to."
Moder also honored his wife this summer to mark their 20 years of marriage. According to RadarOnline, he wrote on July 4, "Today we start our 20th year of marriage. This photo was on a dusty road before that big idea … just holding on to this beautiful girl one day at a time. One epic day at a time.”
