Buckle up folks, 'Fuller House' is returning to our screens on Netflix for one last time. 

The 'Full House' spin-off first graced our screens on Netflix in 2016, and since then the series has released four seasons that focus on the next generation of Tanners -DJ Tanner and Stephanie Tanner along with their next door neighbor and DJ's best friend Kimmy Gibbler. And now four seasons later, the entire cast and crew of 'Fuller House' are gearing up to bid adieu with season 5. 

While there are no tentative dates regarding the release, here's what you should know about the forthcoming season of 'Fuller House.' 

Release date

There is no tentative date given for 'Fuller House' season 5 but it is expected to premiere sometime later in 2019. 


Just like the original sitcom, the series is set in the same house in San Fransisco, California. 'Fuller House' revolves around D.J. Tanner-Fuller who is a veterinarian and widowed mother who has three sons. DJ has a younger sister, Stephanie Tanner, and her best friend Kimmy Gibbler who,  along with her teenage daughter, lives with her and her three sons in the same house. Most of the original cast who we have seen in the sitcom have returned to their roles in the spin-off except Michelle Tanner who was played by the Olsen twins. 



The main cast for 'Fuller House' consist of Candace Cameron Bure who plays the role of D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Jodie Sweetin who plays Stephanie Tanner, DJ's younger sister. Andrea Barber who plays the role of Kimmy Gibbler, Michael Campion as Jackson Fuller, DJ's eldest son, Elias Harger who plays the role of  Max Fuller, DJ's second son, Soni Nicole Bringas plays Ramona Gibbler, Kimmy's teenage daughter, Dashiell & Fox Messitt who play Tommy Fuller, DJ's youngest son, Juan Pablo Di Pace who plays the role of Fernando Hernandez-Guerrero-Fernandez-Guerrero, Kimmy's ex-husband/fiancé and Ramona's dad.

Jeffrey Steven Franklin is an American producer, screenwriter, and director. Franklin is known for his work in Full House, as well as other sitcoms, such as the spin-off Fuller House, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and also Malcolm & Eddie. Franklin previously worked as a substitute teacher in his hometown, Inglewood, California before becoming a writer.
