AMC's hit celebrity talk show 'Friday Night In with The Morgans' is a much-awaited weekly half-hour of jokes and relaxation. However, this week, the show decided to take a break from all that to make way for a socially relevant (and hilarious) variety show. 'Friday Night In with The Morgans' was originally conceived as a fun distraction from the monotony of quarantine.

Hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton Morgan, the show has featured a number of star celebrities from Jensen Ackles to Yvette Nicole Brown. On June 19, however, AMC decided to air a Black History Month comedy special of 'Sherman's Showcase' instead. For those who desperately want a fix of the show, the latest episode is currently available on the AMC website for streaming, free of charge. The show will be back on June 26 with an all-new episode.

Fans are understandably sad about the show not airing this week but they're all still hopeful that next week's episode will make up for it. "The biggest sad face I can muster..... but see you next week!!" one fan wrote on Twitter while another tweeted, "I will miss not seeing the show tonight! #FridayNightInWithTheMorgans." Last week's episode, featuring Colman Domingo and Yvette Nicole Brown, appears to have become a favorite among fans. One week after it aired, fans are still taking to social media to thank the stars for an enlightening conversation on race, social injustice and privilege.

"I really do appreciate what @JDMorgan, @HilarieBurton, @colmandomingo, and @YNB brought forth in their conversation. Love the advice... listen, communicate openly, and show empathy," one fan wrote. The same fan also tweeted, "I would do anything in this world to walk up to @YNB and just give her the biggest hug possible. Truly an inspiration!! Found her analogy between short and tall people, spot on. #FridayNightInWithTheMorgans"

The fan then summed it up writing, "@JDMorgan @HilarieBurton @colmandomingo @YNB It's a struggle to try & openly converse about what's going on, not because it's uncomfortable but because it's difficult for me to comprehend my own thoughts & attempting to articulate it to others." 'Friday Night In with The Morgans' airs on Fridays at 10 pm on AMC.
