'Frankly Speaking' consists of 12 episodes, with two new episodes dropping on Netflix every Wednesday and Thursday for six weeks. The final episode will premiere on June 6th, 2024.

Each episode lasts about 80 minutes.

Song Ki Baek, a 33-year-old single announcer at a broadcasting station, experiences a sudden change. He can't control his impulses and blurts out whatever comes to mind.

His newfound outspokenness attracts attention, especially from On Joo Woo, a writer for a popular TV variety show. She's keen on having him as a guest on her show.

However, the official synopsis reads, "A well-respected announcer suddenly loses his ability to self-censor on air, catching the attention of a TV writer who invites him on her variety show."

Go Kyung Pyo portrays the character Song Ki Baek in 'Frankly Speaking.'

Go Kyung-pyo, born on June 11, 1990, is a South Korean actor and comedian. He became famous for his roles in 'Reply 1988,' 'Don't Dare to Dream,' and 'Chicago Typewriter.'

He debuted in acting in 2010 and was part of 'Saturday Night Live Korea.' He appeared in shows like 'Standby,' 'My Cute Guys,' and 'Naeil's Cantabile.'

His breakthrough came with 'Reply 1988' and 'Don't Dare to Dream,' earning him the "New Star Award" at the 2016 SBS Drama Awards. In 2017, he starred in 'Chicago Typewriter' and 'Strongest Deliveryman,' followed by 'Cross' in 2018.

In 2020, he returned to TV with 'Private Lives' alongside Girls' Generation's Seohyun.

In 'Frankly Speaking,' Kang Han Na takes on the role of On Woo Joo. She's no stranger to Netflix viewers, having appeared in various dramas like 'My Roommate Is a Gumiho', 'Start-Up', and 'Designated Survivor: 60 Days'.

Kang Han-na, a South Korean actress and radio DJ under KeyEast Entertainment, earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Chung-ang University's Department of Theater. She started her acting journey in independent films and made her official debut in 2013 in movies like 'Fasten Your Seatbelt' and 'Friend: The Great Legacy'.

Her drama debut came the same year in 'Miss Korea'.

She gained more recognition through her participation in the 'Running Man Family Package Project' and has been a guest in 21 'Running Man' episodes as of December 2020, making her the most frequent guest in the show's history.

Besides acting, Kang has professional ballet training and has been hosting KBS Cool FM/KBS Music's radio show 'Volume Up' since January 2020, succeeding Lee Suhyun.

In 'Frankly Speaking,' Joo Jong Hyul plays Kim Jung Heon. He's known for his roles in 'D.P.' as Lee Hyo Sang and the beloved K-drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' as Kwon Min Woo, a role he'll reprise in the second season.

Joo Jong-hyuk began his acting career in indie films and transitioned to mainstream roles in 2018 with a small part in JTBC’s 'My ID Is Gangnam Beauty.' The next year, he appeared in another JTBC series called 'Clean With Passion for Now.'

In 2021, he played supporting roles in the Netflix military drama 'D.P.' and the MBC action-thriller 'The Veil.' He also joined tvN’s 'Yumi’s Cells' and returned for its second season.

Additionally, he joined the cast of the tvN thriller 'Happiness.' In 2022, he portrayed attorney 'Kwon Min-woo' in the hit legal series 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo.'
