'Fox's New Year's Eve with Steve Harvey: Live From Times Square' was a huge hit and hosts Steve Harvey, Maria Menounos and Rob Gronkowski did a splendid job in keeping the crowd glued to the festivities.

While the star-studded night was full of merriment and fun, it was the wardrobe of the hosts that grabbed all the attention on social media. Viewers couldn't stop wondering if anyone kept a count of all the coats Harvey and Menounos changed in one night.

"Did anyone keep count as to how many different coats #SteveHarvey wore tonight? #NYEonFOX," one viewer joked while another wrote, "Bet he come back with a new coat after this commercial #SteveHarvey #NYEonFOX."

The jokes didn't end there. One tweet read, "Countdown to how many coats Steve Harvey has #NYEonFOX" and another said, "I'm just watching for the coats now... #NYEonFOX."

One fan even tried to find out who dressed Harvey. "Who. Dressed. Steve. I need to knowww.. anyone know who designed his coat picks? #nyeonfox."

"Steve Harvey done changed his coat like 11ed times," one viewer posted and another wrote, "This nigga got like 11teen coats. Happy new year!!! #NYEonFOX." What's more, one fan even found a bizarre message in one of the pockets.

"One of those inner coat pockets read 'condoms' haha. #NYEonFOX." Another one said, "If someone can explain Steve Harvey's coat to me, I'd really appreciate it. #NYEonFOX."

Maria's coats too sparked much uproar. "Maria Menounos looking like she could manage Harlem Heat with that coat," one tweet read and another said, "How many outfits and hairdos can Maria have in one night?"

The gala night boasted of performances by some of the biggest artistes, right from The Chainsmokers, The Lumineers, Florida Georgia Line, Backstreet Boys, Tyga to the Killers, as well as headliner LL Cool J featuring DJ Z-Trip.
